HOW DOES IT WORK?
The RF energy is delivered through the focused tip of the microneedles, leading to far less trauma to the surrounding epidermis. This leads to significantly decreasing the discomfort and down time for the patient compared to conventional fractional lasers. Insulated microneedles are more effective and takes care of both epidermal and dermal problems without the need for additional superficial fractional RF treatments (SFRs).
The Acne pen delivers energy into the pustules killing the acne-causing bacteria and reducing inflammation.

HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?
There is no need for any topical anasthetic cream prior to treatment, the treatment takes 30 to 45 minutes, including after care.

HOW DOES THE TREATMENT FEEL?
Because you can control the energy of the insulated tips, you can tailor the treatment to suit your client. Acne patients treated with the acne pen don't feel any discomfort.

HOW LONG IS RECOVERY AFTER TREATMENT?
Initially, you may experience transient erythema on the treated areas for 3-4 hours. The downtime involved with treatments are significantly reduced due to it targeting the deeper layers of the skin. Acne patients don't need any down time.

WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED TREATMENT REGIME?
The typical interval between sessions is once every 6 weeks. Most patients see excellent results following 2-4 treatments, however, this may vary according to individual skin condition and further treatments may be required once an assessment has been made. Serums can be used to take the treatment to another level. Acne patients can be treated weekly if required.
